This moisturising coconut milk shampoo bar is specially formulated for dry and damaged hair, and curly hair seems to love it a lot too! Coconut milk boosts volume and shine and helps to repair and detangle damaged hair. The pure organic coconut oil creates a soft and abundant lather (so there is no need for SLS) and the organic shea butter is highly nourishing and moisturising, so perfect for extremely dry skin. At the final stage of the making process, 5% of the oil blend is added to the mixture which results in the end product being much more moisturising than standard soaps and shampoo bars. Please note: the coconut scent fades in the soap-making process, making this bar unscented.
Shampoo bars are quite similar to normal soap bars, so it is recommended to create a lather in your hands first and then apply it to the hair. Rinse well to eliminate any soap residue left in the hair. Conditioner is not needed with this shampoo bar, but an acid rinse is recommended.

Living in Rome, Bianca decided at the beginning of 2016 to try and produce less waste after reading an article about Lauren Singer and her trash jar. Being a Political Science graduate, Bianca moved to Scotland to follow her passion for the environment and complete a Masters' Degree in Environmental Sustainability. Together with Giulio, her very patient boyfriend, Bianca began her zero waste journey and in February 2018, decided she wanted to use what they had learned to create something that put their values into practice. They learned more about ingredients, processes and materials, and 6 months later they began producing home made zero waste products in small batches.
The couple recently moved to Cambridge where Giulio is studying a PhD in International Environmental Law, so Bianca is currently running the business solo and still makes all the products herself. She continues to put a huge amount of effort into creating a range of body care products that are sustainable in every aspect, from the ingredients used, production methods, packaging materials, and the energy used in all processes.
