For Fluf sustainability means taking a long-term view of how their products, choices and actions affect the environment. They believe replacing disposable products with reusable ones goes a long way to creating a cleaner world for generations to come.
Fluf regularly perform health, safety and quality testing on all of their products. All of their products are independently certified to be free of BPA, phthalates and lead. They also comply with or exceed the most stringent safely standards in the U.S.
All prints are hand painted or sketched before being silkscreened onto the organic cotton fabric in Toronto. All fabrics are printed with water-based, heavy metal free and biodegradable pigments.
Fluf produce a range of high quality, organic cotton reusables that are healthy and safe.
Started in the summer of 2005 by former lawyer, Nathalie Butterfield, and former interior designer, Terra Kushner, Fluf began by selling 'eco' cushions. Unable to find design-led, sustainable fabrics, they soon started producing and printing their own, and Fluf as we know it was born!
Fluf's products are designed in Toronto and manufactured conscientiously in China. Their Chinese manufacturing partner is committed to a working environment that is healthy and safe. Employees are paid fair wages, have health insurance and more. The certified organic cotton is sourced from China and/or Turkey.
